This is a hybrid with fast development and good environmental stability due to its large root system. PVH 09 has a good adaptability to different soil and climate conditions. It is a high-yielding, good quality hybrid with high tolerance to bacterial wilt. It also has resistance to TMV and to races 1 and 3 of the southern root-knot nematodes.
