This hybrid has resistance to black shank race 0, races 1 and 3 of the southern root-knot nematode and to the tobacco cyst nematode Globodera spp. PVH1452 has high tolerance to bacterial wilt and a moderate tolerance to black shank race 1. It produces a moderate number of leaves, good yields of high quality tobacco and is easy to cure.
