HB4198P

Imagem hybrids-nematode-resistant-hb4198p-439

It is ProfiGen’s first Burley hybrid that combines tolerance to nematodes Meloidogyne javanica and M. arenaria, and high tolerance to Fusarium. Furthermore, it is resistant to nematodes M. incognita races 1 and 3, tobacco mosaic virus, PVY, black root rot, and wildfire.
The main characteristics of this hybrid include fast growth, late flowering and a big number of leaves with an upright architecture, which tend to make management and harvest easier. HB4198P requires topping before the flower bud emerges, in accordance with the desired number of leaves per plant. Its productive potential is high and so is the quality of its cured leaves.
