PVH2233

PVH2233 is the first hybrid resistant to PVY, released by ProfiGen, with genetic characteristics to produce more leaves per plant than K 326. This hybrid has an excellent yield potential, and to obtain the best results in terms of yield and quality, the plants should be topped with a maximum of 24 leaves. PVH2233 is also resistant to TMV, Black Shank race 0 and to Globodera nematodes and Meloidogyne incognita races 1 and 3. It has moderate resistance to Fusarium and to nematodes Meloidogyne arenaria. Excellent holding-ability in the field, easy curing and good quality are some of the additional characteristics that highlight this hybrid.
