PVH2411 is a Virginia hybrid of late maturation, high number of leaves, excellent productivity, adaptability and stability. With broad leaves and medium size, it produces cured tobacco of high quality. It is resistant to TMV, nematodes M. incognita races 1 and 3, and moderately tolerant to bacterial wilt.
This hybrid can be transplanted earlier than the traditional K326.
Topping should be carried out as soon as the plants achieve the desired number of leaves, whilst the amount of fertilizer should be adjusted according to the number of leaves per plant. The bigger the number of leaves, the more fertilizer is required.
