Seed Germination
Seed quality is an ever-increasing component in the tobacco market, seeing that the tray production system is getting more and more common for conferring quality and uniformity to seedlings and tobacco fields.
In this system, each cell in the tray bears an inherent cost, and should produce a plant.
Consequently, the germination capacity and uniformity are of fundamental importance.
ProfiGen relies on a modern seed analysis laboratory to make sure that only products of very high quality are sold.
Furthermore, all seed lots that are commercialized have their quality attested by a germination test conducted by an external laboratory, accredited by the MAPA-Brasil.
We only put in the market lots tested and approved by this laboratory, thus attesting to the quality of the seeds commercialized by ProfiGen.
